Clear

Nymphaea Marliacea Flammea is a rare early hybrid produced in France in 1894 by Bory Latour-Marliac. He described it as having purple-red flowers with deep red stamens and a hint of white at the petal tips, and brown marbled leaves. My stock came from the Marliac nursery but seems a lot more pink, maybe it will darken as the tubers age – we will see.
