We supply to many garden designers, landscapers, Universities, National Trust and RHS in addition to many large estates and garden attractions and are often asked for prices for large planting schemes for natural swimming ponds, which we are pleased to do.

Discounted prices for x 10 bare root plants and x 3 pots of the same variety are generally shown on the main listings and all prices include VAT at the prevailing rate, currently 20%. If you are VAT registered you can reclaim this portion. Orders for under £250.00 of goods must be placed direct through the website and free postage applies to all orders of over £100 placed direct. For orders valued at £250.00 and above, please contact us for an individual quotation without obligation. Postage and packing on large trade orders priced individually will not be charged at the rates shown on the ordering page but will be specifically quoted for. It helps us tremendously if you stick to multiples of x10 for bare root plants and x3 for P9 and 1 litre potted plants. We promise that we do not make any margin on carriage of plants but just charge the actual cost of box and postage/carrier. This is now a significant percentage of the cost of mail order and there is no significant reduction in the cost per item for larger consigments, so this part of the order value cannot be discounted. We don’t show our whole stock quantity on the website, so if you don’t see enough of what you want, please ask, we usually have it. We offer the best price that we can while maintaining our reputation for quality and service. 

The best deals will always be for collection from the nursery, since the cost of packing and transport is now a major slice of the total price. Retail prices for plants collected from the nursery are shown on the Contact page and displayed at the nursery and are considerably lower than mail order prices, especially for potted plants. Further quantity discounts from these prices are available for larger orders collected from the nursery.

We offer very competitive discounts for full boxes of potted plants for larger schemes, these can be found below. P9 pots will be in x 24 and 1 litre pots in x 15 for these full box deals. Individual varieties can be mixed in multiples of three to qualify for the discount levels. There are also deals for larger purchases of 3 litre potted water lilies.

We don’t have a formal trade account system; the first few orders will be on a cash with order basis, but once we get to know you we are more relaxed about invoicing for prompt payment after the date of delivery, by which we mean within 14 days please.
