Primula vulgaris (Primrose)

Primula vulgaris, our native primrose, needs little introduction, a classic early flowering plant with pale yellow flowers above rosettes of downy leaves. It tolerates a wide range of ground conditions and light levels as long as it isn’t too wet or dark.
