Ranunculus acris Flore Pleno (Batchelor’s buttons/double meadow buttercup)

Ranunculus acris Flore Pleno (Batchelor’s buttons/double meadow buttercup) is a double flowered cultivar of the meadow buttercup, and is quite fine and slow to bulk up, but very dainty with dissected leaves and sprays of double yellow pompom flowers. It’s not a proper marginal plant, so don’t drown it, but place in a basket with the soil above water level and it will be fine.
