Iris laevigata Variegata is a very well known water Iris which has strong white and green stripes on the foliage which last all season, and the flowers are blue to purple with a white throat. This variety is the shortest of the laevigata varieties and is slow to propagate, hence relatively expensive. It’s a lovely plant though, and well worth the initial investment, making an impressive clump more quickly than most of the other laevigata cultivars.
