Myosotis palustris Mermaid

Myosotis palustris Mermaid is a much improved cultivar of forget-me-not with larger, greener leaves, stronger purplish stems and larger blue flowers. I’m sure it still has the same appeal to pollinators and is a much better plant to grow than the plain original native species. It is denser and bushier too, giving good cover for small critters. It’s a bit more expensive than the plain species as being a named variety, we can’t grow it from seed and have to propagate from cuttings, though most seedlings do seem to come true.

This plant will rarely be available in potted form by mail order direct from the website but is usually available at the nursery in small numbers. If you are interested in obtaining it by mail order, please email us and we can often oblige. An additional packing and carriage charge may be necessary.
