Iris laevigata Snowdrift is one of the oldest cultivars of this well known water Iris, this has six white petals with a line of violet purple in the throat. It seems a little easier to keep than some of the other laevigata cultivars and flowers reliably, though not exactly profusely. It’s still very slow to establish and propagate and takes a long time to make a substantial clump, don’t over-divide it.
