Matteucia struthiopteris (Shuttlecock or Ostrich Fern) is a spectacular addition to a damp and shady border, spreading steadily by underground stems. The impressive plumes of bright green feathery fronds go with any planting scheme. It’s not native, but widely naturalised in many large gardens.

From September to March, while dormant, this plant may be available in various options by mail order.
From April to August this plant will only be available mail order in packs of three P9 pots, but also at the nursery in larger sizes.
