Mazus reptans (Chinese marshflower) is the blue species, which is small and very pretty, but not terribly hardy, so maybe not suitable for very cold areas. It is often one of the first plants to flower and then flowers on and off throughout the year with dainty nodding blue bells. The crumpled leaves are also attractive and similar to Campanula. It’s ideal as a filler to camouflage to tops of baskets containing upright plants.
