Penthorum sedoides (ditch stonecrop)

Penthorum sedoides (ditch stonecrop) is sometimes called star fruit or redlegs, the main attraction of this plant is the contrast between the red stems and the rather yellow leaves. The heads of red flowers add to the contrast in summer. It’s easy to grow and can form quite large stands.

This plant will rarely be available in potted form by mail order direct from the website but is usually available at the nursery in small numbers. If you are interested in obtaining it by mail order, please email us and we can often oblige. An additional packing and carriage charge may be necessary.
