Persicaria amplexicaulis Blackfield

Persicaria amplexicaulis Blackfield has the darkest plum red flowers of any of the species, freely produced late in the season on light green ground covering foliage. It is really popular with bees and other insects and generally a fabulous garden plant, unfussy about position or soil.
