Trollius chinensis Golden Queen (Chinese Globeflower)

Trollius chinensis (Chinese Globeflower) is essentially an orange flowered plant, though a variety of orange and lemon colours are possible. This cultivar is a buttery orange. Trollius are plants of alpine meadows, so to get the best from them they need plenty of sun with moist soil, but not saturated at the roots, especially over winter. They will also do well in light shade.
