Iris laevigata Colchesterii is a variety which has six white petals with heavy blue/purple markings on the falls. Rather less vigorous than the other cultivars, and very special, hence rather expensive I’m afraid! Don’t believe those who tell you it comes true from seed – it doesn’t, though the seedlings do mostly resemble it.
