Iris versicolor Rowden Nocturne: The Rowden irises are a series bred by Galen and John Carter at Rowden gardens. Their original nursery is now sadly closed, but their legacy lives on! Nocturne is a purple flowered iris, basically a darker flowered sport of the plain species. It is strong and of medium height.
