Littorella uniflora (Shoreweed) is a short plant with fleshy grassy leaves, growing in damp soil above the waterline or completely submerged to a depth of about 60cm depending on water clarity. When submerged it is a good oxygenator, growing by means of runners. Native to the northern hemisphere but not the UK.
