Myriophyllum crispatum (Upright water milfoil) is one of the huge milfoil family, this one not native, with feathery whorled leaves on crispy stems. Suitable for shallow water where the submerged stems will oxygenate and the emergent ones will protrude from the water. It is similar visually to the dreaded and banned Parrots Feather M aquaticum, but nowhere near as prolific. Available Spring and Summer.
