Nymphaea James Brydon

Nymphaea James Brydon produces cup-shaped rose red flowers on maroon flecked foliage.

Nymphaea James Brydon is another very old variety, this one produces cup-shaped rose red flowers on maroon flecked foliage, leaf stems and undersides are often strong red. It is reputed to tolerate shade better than most and is not as vigorous as many of the other reds, so may be more suitable for smaller ponds. I find this variety dainty and slow to bulk up.

1 litre sized plants are young plants that are unlikely to flower in their first season. 3 litre sized plants are mature flowering sized plants. For more detailed information please see Information/Water Lily Information.
