Swan Mussels (Anodonta cygnaea) are the largest freshwater mussel found in the UK. They are filter feeders and help to keep water free of microscopic algae. They are available only occasionally as they are becoming rare in the wild; it could well be that we have to discontinue this line. Sold in packs of five, when available.
