Allium schoenoprasum is a well known plant with grass-like, tubular, mid-green leaves with pretty rose-pink flowers. Chives are attractive, prolific flowering and have been used in cooking and medicine for thousands of years. They are quite happy in damp conditions, flowering June to July.
