Carex elata Aurea (Bowles Golden sedge)

Carex elata Aurea (Bowles Golden sedge) is surely one of the most beautiful of all the grasses; new foliage is all butter yellow and matures with narrow green stripes along the edges of the weeping leaves. It’s bit fussy about position, damp and slightly shady is best, not too wet or dry.
