Eupatorium maculatum purpureum is an improved cultivar of hemp agrimony and has much stronger coloured stems and flowers. It still attracts all the beneficial insects. Everybody knows it as Eupatorium but the ever busy taxonomists have recently changed this to Eutrochium.
