Glyceria aquatica (Manna grass) is a very vigorous native plant, useful for large wildlife habitat or bank reinforcement. Not suitable for garden ponds.

Minus Quantity- Plus Quantity+

Glyceria aquatica (Manna Grass) is a lax and rapidly spreading aquatic grass, and when we say spreading we mean it! Often used by river authorities for creating habitat for birds and mammals. It makes a dense stand when planted in the ground, but in baskets tends to flop and does have a rather scruffy look, so isn’t really suitable for garden ponds. It’s best used in larger natural ponds and lakes, where it comes into its own.
