Lucky dip lilies are lilies either deriving from a pond thinning where we don’t know the colour or the variety, or surplus stock of any lily. We therefore can’t guarantee the type or size, (though please be aware that the ones we are asked to thin out are usually vigorous ones) so these are best planted at a medium depth of 50 to 60 cm. They are the most economical type to purchase if you have a medium or large pond and aren’t too fussed about the colour. 1 litre sized plants are young plants that are unlikely to flower in their first season. 3 litre sized plants are mature flowering size plants. For more detailed information please see Information/Water Lily Information.
