Nuphar lutea pumila (Least lily) is a native dwarf form of Nuphar in which the yellow flowers are more numerous and are held well above the water if the water is not too deep. It is suitable for smaller ponds, though can be quite vigorous once it gets going, especially in earth bottomed ponds.
