Mazus reptans ‘alba’ (White Chinese marshflower) is small and very pretty, but not terribly hardy, so maybe not suitable for very cold areas. It is often one of the first plants to flower and then flowers on and off throughout the year with dainty nodding white bells. The crumpled leaves are also attractive.
