Nymphaea Gloire du Temple sur Lot: After years of keeping this variety in a small pond, where it rarely flowered, I was astounded when I planted it in a large pond and it produced scores of huge double pink flowers and masses of very attractive leaves. It reputedly needs a shallow, warm and sunny position for best results, and indeed that is what it enjoys in my pond. When planted fairly shallow, the leaves turn up at the edges, exposing the dark pink undersides.
1 litre sized plants are young plants that are unlikely to flower in their first season. 3 litre sized plants are mature flowering sized plants. For more detailed information please see Information/Water Lily Information.
