Nasturtium aquaticum is our native edible water cress. It is fast growing and more suited to cooler running water, but can still be grown in still water or even wet soil. If it gets hot it will go to seed and die back, so it’s usually at its best in Spring and sometimes later in autumn. A good plant for filtration systems or waterfalls, we don’t normally keep this in pots.
